"The Death of God"Daisy Tello 3rd period

In section four Elie and his father are still at Buna. While they are there they have to get medical examinations and dental examinations looking for any gold teeth. Afterward all of the prisoners are chosen by a kapo. Elie gets lucky and goes with his father, they both go to a kapo named Idek. For now and on Idek is there kapo as long as they remained at Buna. Idek has a very short temper and it is better for everyone to say out of his way and do what he says to do. Then all of the Jews are assigned to a certain block of work Elie and his father are put with a group of musicians and they all go to a  warehouse fixing electrical equipment. While working there in the warehouse Elie meets a French girl. Then Elie sees Idek fooling around with a girl so he starts to laugh. When Idek sees him he gets very mad and he decides to whip him 25 times in front of everyone. Elie cannot sand its way to much pain so without noticing he passes out. Then the wiping is over and he is not able to stand up. Afterwards the camp is attacked and all of the solders went a hid leaving all of the Jews alone. At that moment one man was brave to go to the kitchen and try to steal food but when he was there in front of the pot of soup he got shot by one of the solders. That afternoon that man was hanged in the gallows. everyone has to whatch this he was hagged with other  2 kids and that day elie starded to tell him self that god was dead. that he was there hanging from the gallows.
