Day Of Horror - Jennifer Rodriguez 2

this shows the hangings of the men and boy

toruting a jewish prisoner.

religous belief

As the crowd weeps , death appears ,beliefs fade .As Elie views the hangs of three prisoners and of a young weak boy .The boy manages to take a few minutes to live before he dies and is left hanging. Elies voice stays silent , as the rest do , but his religous faith fades , he yet hears men pray for god. The feeling he gets when his belief fades appears again , the first when he see's his father being beaten by the gypsy overseer.Elie stands and watches his father gain pain . His faith fades from god and as well as for his father . Seeing the poor , weak biy just hang , bones showing , tongue still red, just hanging for a while till he can't last .The emotions were undescribeable , watching a young boy die in front of everyone in the concentration camp .I think through out the story , Elie changes the way of seeing things in life .In the beginning , he believed in god , and as time passes by , the believe in god fades .The things he thought of first in life before living in the camps , they change .
